Barrow Boy Traders is owned by Bob Brown and Danielle Atkinson who have lived and worked in the township of Castlemaine for over 30 years. We felt it was time to offer something a bit different to the town with Vintage, Retro and Antiques and an eclectic range of objects of interest. When the terrific space became available both Danielle and Bob decided it was time.

Bob’s passion for collecting and dealing goes back more than 40 years when he first had a stall in Chapel Street Bazaar, and since then has continued with his interests building a private collection.

It’s hard to put your finger on the eclectic mix you will find at Barrow Boy Traders, ranging from hard to find furniture pieces, odd bits of taxidermy and obscure decorative objects through to new pieces produced by local craftspeople.  We will be constantly sourcing new and interesting objects that will keep each visit to the shop fresh and interesting.
